The Vortech supercharger was installed by an associate, Aaron Garney of Rabid Chimp.com.  The dyno results yielded an additional 105 HP to the rear wheels for a total of 350.

The satin finish kit was delivered by the customer, he requested polishing of some sort so we suggested ceramic coating all components to not only give the polished appearance but to provide a thermal barrier from heat-soak.

CHROMEX ploished aluminum ceramic was used on the head unit as well as the tubing and provides protection up to 1300 degrees.

The Vortech kit did not provide an adequate means to remove the cone style filter for cleaning. It would have been required to remove the head unit to accomplish this.  Aaron fabricated a cold air set-up that allows for a larger filter and relocates it on top of the intercooler.

It not only provieds a better source for colder, denser air, but is much more accessible for cleaning by just dropping the intercooler.
