Stock Manifold  

Installed pictures clearly show our header has no clearance issues at all. These are 1 3/4" primary tubes. They fit better than some other companies 1 1/2" primary tubes.

Outlet of down-pipe includes a 2 1/2" reducer for use with stock cat-back. Can be exchanged for 3" exhaust later.

Dyno numbers:

Before numbers - 2005 Saturn Ion with 2.0 supercharged engine. 42 lbs. injectors, stock spark plugs, cold air intake and stock exhaust manifold, down-pipe and exhaust.

After numbers - Clear Image Automotive 4 into 1 header & off-road down-pipe installed.

Custom tuning by TriFecta was also done for significant gains and performance throughout the RPM range.

The bars are $145.00 and come painted black. Powder coating is available for an additional fee.

 

We build our headers with 14 gage (.083 wall) mild steel tubing and 3/8" thick CNC laser cut header flanges for superior strength and longevity. All of our Mandrel bending, fitting, welding and surfacing are done in-house. The header primary tubes are completely welded on both sides of the flange for added strength, gas sealing and appearance.

We locate the oxygen sensor bung  in the collector for an accurate reading. Other companies have compromised and located the sensor bung in one of the four primary tubes. This is inaccurate and could lead to problems with air/fuel mixtures as the computer is forced to rely on feed back from just one cylinder.

Our headers are available ceramic coated inside and out with CHROMEX ceramic by Performance Coatings, Inc.
